A MESSAGE FROM THE TRAVEL TRIP COMMITTEE
The Travel Trip Committee would like to thank the members who took the time to complete the Travel Trip Survey last month.
We found there were quite a few responses asking for more out-of-town trips. The Travel Committee has found, since COVID, the cost of bus rentals has more than doubled, hence finding it very difficult to host out-of-town trips. The cost per person for the rental of a “comfort” bus works out to be well over $100.00 per person, which the Committee finds to be exorbitant.
We will continue looking for excursions that we can take together. If you have any further suggestions, please leave your suggestions with the Front Desk Volunteers and they will pass those suggestions along to the Committee.
