Dr. Haidong Liang, Executive Director of our centre, explains what the WEDeliver Happiness initiative is all about and how you can support a lower income senior or veteran this holiday season
HELP US DELIVER HAPPINESS AND BRING OUR COMMUNITY INTO THE LIVES OF 100 LOWER-INCOME SENIORS!
We know that we have the best seniors centre in Edmonton. From our fitness classes to our events here at the centre, we have a wonderful community of WSAC members, volunteers, and staff. Unfortunately, there are many seniors here in Edmonton that are unable to come to our centre.
Help us brighten the day of 100 seniors by donating to our centre. With a donation of $18.00 we will provide a senior with a bag of goodies from our centre. Each senior will receive
- A turkey meal complete with Turkey, Stuffing, Vegetables, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Cranberry Sauce
- A “brain game” – a book, crossword book, and/or puzzle
- A cute stuffed animal, courtesy of our friends at ICAN!
- A handwritten note from WSAC staff and volunteers, wishing them well and letting them know that there are people in the community who care about their wellbeing!
$18.00 Donation
Your $18.00 donation will provide 1 local senior or veteran with a turkey meal and our gift bag with everything mentioned above
$90.00 DONATION
With a donation of $90.00, you will support 5 seniors or veterans this holiday season. Each will receive the turkey meal and the gift package above
$180.00 DONATION
With a donation of $180.00, you will be bringing holiday cheer to 10 lower-income seniors or veterans this Christmas season.

If you know someone you feel would benefit from this initiative, please contact Gaby Sanchez, our Outreach Coordinator. She will need the following information:

- their address
All calls will be kept confidential.
