Investing Scam Prevention:
The session covers common types of investment scams in Alberta and red flags to watch for. It also highlights the importance of doing your research thoroughly and ensuring individuals or platforms offering investments are registered with the provincial securities commission before investing. Anyone can be a victim of fraud. Come learn to spot the scam and the steps on how to report a suspicious investment to the ASC.

Come join James MacDonald, the Senior Manager of Corporate Security at Servus Credit Union as he educates us about the current trends in the ever-changing landscape of fraud. We will discuss how to recognize the red flags of a scam and how to protect yourself. You will be able to Recognize, Reject, and Report fraud at the end of the session.

Come join us and learn how to recognize signs and symptoms of a heart attack, cardiac arrest, and what to do. Being prepared with first aid knowledge and a first aid kit will go a long way in helping save a life.
The St Johns Ambulance team will also be doing a demonstration on how to use an AED machine.
