The Morning Special – For just $12.00, enjoy a classic, home-style meal:

  • Fluffy Scrambled Eggs
  • Golden Toast
  • Your Choice: Savory Sausage or Crispy Bacon
  • Sliced Tomato
  • Drink: Coffee or Tea

When & Where

  • Mondays to Fridays – 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
  • Community Cafe

No fuss, no dishes—just a great meal at a great price. We can’t wait to see you there!

Message 02 – PROPER FOOTWEAR

Whether you’re commuting, walking in the WSAC parking lot or just taking the dog out, the freeze-thaw cycle is officially here, and it’s a recipe for a “wipeout.”

Between the melting slush during the day and the invisible black ice at night, your sneakers aren’t going to cut it.

Here is how to stay upright:

  • Prioritize Traction: Look for boots with deep, rubberized treads. If the soles are flat and smooth, they’ll act like skis on icy patches.
  • Waterproofing is Key: Stepping into a “puddle” that turns out to be four inches of icy slush is a day-ruiner. Ensure your footwear has a solid moisture barrier.
  • The “Penguin Walk”: Even with great boots, keep your center of gravity over your front leg and take short, shuffling steps on shiny surfaces.

WSAC continues to monitor the parking lot and is working with our snow removal contactor.
