45th Anniversary BBQ – It Was A Wonderful Party

Did you know…

• On August 1, 1978, our founding Board President Harry Farmer established an organization called the Edmonton Self Starter Organization? 
• Later, in 2003, the organization changed its name to the Westend Seniors Activity Centre (WSAC).
• Now, in 2023, our organization has a much bigger WESeniors platform, with our headquarters located in the Westend Seniors Activity Centre and we are proud to announce we are celebrating 45 years of excellence in serving seniors.

Today’s event also served as the soft launch of a series of our full-year fundraising and celebration events! Make sure to watch our communications for more exciting events in the near future!

Many of our members are from your ridings, and receiving support from multiple MLAs is important for our organization.  Thank you to our city councillor Andrew Knack for bringing greetings on behalf of the City Of Edmonton and presenting us with a certificate from the Mayor and all City Councillors. As always, you are advocating for our Centre and we appreciate every effort you have made to support WESeniors.
