Friends of WSAC
& the Active Aging Series
The Friends of WSAC are local businesses and non-profit organizations that we’ve built relationships with because they share our interest in supporting older adults. These partners have been vetted by our team and understand the importance of providing clear, helpful information. They also understand that their role is to educate—not sell. They focus on sharing valuable information, tips, and resources in a respectful and engaging way.

One way we collaborate with them is through our Active Aging Series. A set of educational sessions that explore topics relevant to seniors in our community. Some past topics have included Homecare 101, Seniors Housing 101, Aging in Our Communities, Nutrition and Bone Health, Health from the Neck Up, Solo Travel, and Living Our Best Lives.

These sessions are open to members and free to attend. They’re a chance to hear from professionals who work in fields connected to aging and who bring both experience and insight. Whether someone is navigating a specific challenge or simply looking to learn more, the series offers practical information in a welcoming, no-pressure environment.
