ANNUAL HOLIDAY DINNER
On November 28th, 2025, our centre welcomed members and friends to our annual holiday dinner. For many, this dinner is a favourite tradition and an important part of their holiday season.
The WE Seniors team and our Special Events volunteers worked together to get the hall ready. They set up the tables, added decorations, and made sure everything felt welcoming. Once guests arrived, the team served a full turkey dinner prepared by our amazing kitchen staff, who put a lot of care into making the meal special.
The evening included plenty of laughter, thanks to comedian Susan Carter. Guests also enjoyed the “In Your Face” photo booth—sponsored by our good friends and partners Infinity Healthcare—where they tried on fun props and took playful photos.
Dessert was provided through the support of our wonderful partners Ember Healthcare, giving everyone a sweet way to end their meal.
Throughout the night, guests also had the chance to meet several visitors who stopped by to celebrate with our community, including Member of Parliament Billy Morin, Member of Parliament Kelly McCauley, City Councillors Reed Clarke, and Thu Parmar.
A 50/50 draw and a variety of door prizes added extra excitement to the event, with several attendees going home with great surprises. The biggest moment came when the “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” Gift Card Raffle winner was announced, earning cheers from the crowd.
By the end of the night, guests left feeling full, happy, and connected, thanking our team as headed home
