Join us at the Westend Seniors Activity Centre for an engaging evening designed to build connections, share resources, and explore opportunities to support seniors in our communities. 6:00 p.m. – 📣 Welcome Address
Garnet Brown, Neighborhood Resource Coordinator with the City of Edmonton, will kick things off by sharing how the City supports local groups and fosters community connections.
6:15 p.m. – 🤝 Partnering for Success
Dr. Haidong Liang, Executive Director of our centre, will share insights on how the Westend Seniors Activity Centre creates win-win partnerships to benefit seniors and local organizations.
6:30 p.m. – 👟 Centre Tours
Our staff will take you on a guided tour of our facility, highlight our programs and services, and answer your questions.
6:45 p.m. – ☕ Networking and Refreshments
Enjoy snacks and beverages at our Community Café while connecting with other organizations serving seniors in Edmonton.
7:00 p.m. – 📊 Partnership Opportunities
Discover how we can work together to support seniors in your community, including:
- Access to our Social Worker and Outreach Workers for senior and family support.
- Ready-to-use resources for your communications, including fraud bulletins, government updates, and health tools.
- Public programs and events open to all community members – no membership required!
