Let’s give the gift of giving – MUSTARD SEED CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE

The Mustard Seed is gearing up to launch their 9th Annual Family Gift Centre and they can’t do it without you!

They created the Family Gift Centre where low-income families can purchase Christmas gifts at a pop up toy shop for $2. They believe no family should have to choose between putting food on the table and giving their children the joy of unwrapping a present on Christmas morning. WSAC has teamed up with The Mustard Seed because we agree!

The Mustard Seed’s mission is to create an experience that restores dignity and empowers caregivers to shop for their children. Many families in the Edmonton area live below the poverty line, and the Family Gift Centre exists to alleviate the added pressure over the holidays, ensuring everyone has something special under the tree!

Last year, WSAC helped The Mustard Seed provide 700 children with Christmas presents! Help them again this year! Your support makes an immediate and profound difference in the lives of families who need it the most. 

You can be a part of this incredible event in several ways:

• Donate New Toys: We’re looking for new toys for ages 0 – 18 years (The donation box is located in the WSAC hallway. We will collect the toys until December 3rd and we will deliver donations to Mustard Seed.)
• Monetary Donations: Your financial support will help us stock the shop with a wide variety of gifts. Sponsorship opportunities available. (Drop off to our Front Desk.)
• Volunteer Opportunities: Multiple volunteer shifts available.
