MUSTARD SEED CHRISTMAS BACKPACK DRIVE
As the Christmas season approaches, The Mustard Seed is grateful for people like you who help make our community a more compassionate place. This year, The Mustard Seed is expanding their Christmas collection to reach even more people experiencing homelessness and extreme poverty across our city.
They are focusing on filling Christmas backpacks for shelter guests, supportive housing clients, and community members who visit our three Community Impact Centres. Each backpack will be filled with essential items, festive treats, and a whole lot of care.

Every item donated will help restore hope, comfort, and dignity to someone in need this holiday season.
Please drop off to the collection box in WSAC’s lobby.
Your donation truly makes a difference. Together, we can bring hope, dignity, and joy to our neighbours this Christmas!
If you’d like to get involved, please join us in filling backpacks – or simply donate any of the items below to help us fill more backpacks for our guests:
- Warm socks, gloves, and toques
- Backpacks
- Bus tickets and hand warmers
- $10 gift cards (Tim Hortons or McDonald’s)
- Travel-size hygiene items (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrush)
- Wrapped chocolates or candy
