Men’s Shed Lawn Bowling League – June 2026
Join us for an evening of lawn bowling at the Commonwealth Lawn Bowling
- Open to all WE Seniors members, shedders, friends, and spouses.
- League play starts Monday, June 01, 2026, and will run for 4 weeks
- Please arrive at 6:45 p.m. so we can get teams together.
- Games will start at 7:00 p.m.
- Cost: $40.00 per person for 4 weeks – Fees can be paid on the night of June 01st

Volunteering at Older, Bolder, Better tradeshow
If you have volunteered for WE Seniors’ Older, Bolder, Better tradeshow, you have the option of catching a shuttle from WE Seniors to River Cree Casino & Resort or driving to the casino yourself.
Plan to be at the casino’s hotel lobby by 8:00 a.m.

Tour – Edmonton Power Historical Foundation
We are very excited to announce we have arranged for our Men’s Shed members and their friends to join us for a tour of the Edmonton Power Historical Foundation on June 10, 2026!
COME JOIN US!
- 12:00 p.m. – Arrive at the Westend Seniors Activity Centre to carpool with the other shedders
- 12:15 p.m. – We will leave WSAC to head to the museum
- 1:00 p.m. – Tour starts – if you are meeting us there, please plan to arrive at 12:45 p.m. so we have time to check in
We will do the tour and then decide if we want to stay for food and beverages or head back to the centre

Edmonton Power Historical Foundation – Dedicated to Preserving Edmonton’s Electrical History
The Edmonton Power Historical Foundation (EPHF) is a non-profit society dedicated to preserving the history of electric power from before the incorporation of the city of Edmonton and the formation of the Province of Alberta.
A museum building and website (ephf.ca) provide education and entertainment for current and future generations by collecting, restoring, and displaying vintage electric utility-related devices, tools, instruments, equipment, and documents.
HOW TO GET THERE
They are located on the grounds of the Leduc West Antique Museum. Travel 5 km west of Leduc on Highway 39. Go north on Range Road 260 (Cohne Dale Road) for about 800 metres and the museum will be on your right. If you’re coming from the west, Cohne Dale Road is 5km east of Highway 60.
