Wednesday just got better. After a long winter, the Wednesday Mid-Week Market returns on June 24 and runs every Wednesday through September 30, 2026. It’s your weekly ritual for fresh produce, familiar faces, and a little bit of community right in the middle of the week.

We’ll be back at the Callingwood Farmers’ Market again this year! Come visit us, say hello, and find out what’s happening at WE Seniors. We’d love to connect with you.

Note: WE Seniors will not be attending the Callingwood Farmers’ Market on Wednesday, July 1.

 

What You’ll Find Every Wednesday

The Wednesday market is intentionally intimate with a curated selection of 12–20 local vendors focused on what West Edmonton shoppers love most: real food, grown close to home.

  • Fresh Alberta Produce — Seasonal fruit and vegetables harvested fresh and brought directly to market. Strawberries, peas, beans, zucchini, tomatoes, corn, and more as the summer unfolds.
  • Homemade & Artisan Goods — Freshly baked bread, preserves, honey, specialty sauces, and handcrafted food products made in small batches by passionate local producers.
  • DIY Handmade Workshops — Once a month, a hands-on craft workshop led by a local artisan. Watch our events page for details.
  • Live Music — Local musicians perform acoustic sets throughout the market, turning your mid-week errand into something you’ll actually look forward to.

The Wednesday market is perfect for adults 55+ who prefer to shop mid-week and avoid the crowds.  Shop local, connect with the community, and kick off the season with us!

It’s Senior’s Day at the Market on every 1st Wednesday of each month!

On Seniors Day, the first 50 seniors to arrive receive $5 in Market Bucks, our local currency accepted by all vendors , to spend however they like.
