WIDOW TO WIDOW THANKSGIVING FOOD BANK COLLECTION
October is Thanksgiving month! Our friends at Widow to Widow invite WE Seniors Edmonton members to join their annual food drive, collecting non-perishable items to support neighbours and friends struggling to provide food for their families.
The Edmonton Food Bank does appreciate a cash donation as well. (Any donation eligible for a tax receipt will be issued by The Edmonton Food Bank)
- Please drop off your donations of non-perishable food items or cash/cheque (made out to The Edmonton Food Bank) to our Front Desk between Monday, October 5 and 15, 2026 (Thanksgiving week).
- The donations will be collected and sent to the food bank in the afternoon on Thursday, October 15.
For cash or cheque donations: Please place your donation in a sealed envelope with your name, address and telephone number written on the outside. This information will be provided to the Edmonton Food Bank so they can issue you a tax receipt.
