VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: GENEALOGY GROUP FACILITATOR

The Genealogy Group Facilitor leads each meeting of the Genealogy Group for the period September to June annually. Each meeting commences with follow-up discussion of previous meetings, prior genealogy events, and introduce upcoming genealogy events of interest.

 

Skills & Interests We’re Looking For:

  • Organized, detail oriented, comfortable speaking with and in front of others
  • Interest and experience in genealogy

 

Training

Training will be provided by current facilitator and/or the WE Seniors Program Coordinator.

 

Time Commitment

  • The group meets once a month on the 1st Wednesday of the Month from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • There would also be an additional 1-2 hours a month involved with planning speakers, sending emails, etc.
