Pickelball weekly Sign Up Registration has changed.

We are now using My Active Centre for all PB Sign Ups.

Weekly registration now includes pre-payment to confirm your time slot reservation.

PICKLEBALL AT WE SENIORS EDMONTON

WE Seniors Edmonton hosts indoor pickleball sessions throughout the week with different levels and time options.

Members who are interested in the pickleball program should contact the program staff in person or email pi********@*******rs.ca for more information.

A current WE Seniors membership AND pre-registration are required.

Participants sign up a week in advance.

GUIDELINES

The following are the guidelines for sign-ups and the cancellation process to ensure fair participation and efficient management of our pickleball sessions.

 

SIGN UP SYSTEM

  • MyActiveCenter is the system used for sign up through their website.
  • In order to register yourself, members will need to reach out to a staff member or email pi********@*******rs.ca to be added to the PB group.
  • Once added to the group, members will need to create an profile on the website, and add their membership fob number, and personal information (phone number and email) in order to have access to registering.
  • Member are responsible for registering themselve in the timeslots and levels they are interested in, and will have to prepay for the sessions to reserve their spot.
  • Sign up will open every Monday (including holidays) at 9:00 a.m.
  • You are able to sign-up for ONE session a day to a MAX of  TWO sessions a week.
  • Duplicated sign-ups in one session are not allowed (and your second sign-up will be deleted).
  • Couples need to sign up individually.
  • Each session fee is $5.00.
  • If you have any questions about sign-up or cancelling your sign-ups please send an email to pi********@*******rs.ca or by calling 780-483-1209.

 

Daily after 9:00 a.m.

  • Should there are open spots for the current day, you are able to sign up online to fill the empty slots for a third session (same-day booking).
  • On the day that you are playing, if there are available slots for the 2nd session you can play both the 1st and 2nd session and vise versa.

 

To cancel your sign-ups:

  • In order to cancel a session, you will have to contact the center with the details to cancel the sessions.
  • Cancellation notices can be sent to pi********@*******rs.ca or calling the center at 780 483 1209.
  • 10:00 a.m. is the deadline for cancellation, if a member notifies the centre before 10:00 a.m. on the day of playing, a refund will be deposited back into the wallets
  • Any cancellations after 10:00 a.m. on the same day of the session, will have to fill out a refund request form and follow our refund policy.

Please note:

  • Non-compliance with the above cancellation policy will result in the $5.00 Pickleball Fee being charged to your WE Seniors Edmonton account for the session(s) you neglected to cancel.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • All games are doubles play – There is a maximum of 16 players per session.
  • Games are played by the clock (11 minutes per game).
  • Pickleballs are provided.
  • This program is subject to room availability.
  • Sessions may be cancelled for additional cleaning or special events.
  • If members aren’t able to attend the sessions, they must cancel on their own or notify the program staff through email prior to the start of each session.

Level 2 Pickleball (Novice Pickleball) – $5.00/SESSION

 

TUESDAYS

  • 6:10 p.m. to 7:50 p.m.

 

THURSDAYS

  • 4:30 p.m. to 6:10 p.m.

 

FRIDAYS

  • 12:45 p.m. to 2:05 p.m.

Level 3 Pickleball (Experienced Pickleball) – $5.00/SESSION

 

MONDAYS

  • Session #1: 12:45 p.m. – 2:25 p.m.
  • Session #2: 2:25 p.m. – 4:05 p.m.

 

TUESDAYS

  • 4:30 p.m. – 6:10 p.m.

 

WEDNESDAYS

  • 12:45 p.m. to 2:25 p.m.

 

THURSDAYS

  • Session #1: 12:45 p.m. – 2:25 p.m.
  • Session #2: 2:25 p.m. – 4:05 p.m.

Level 2/3 Pickleball (All Levels Pickleball) – $5.00/SESSION

 

WEDNESDAYS

  • 2:25 p.m. – 4:05 p.m.

 

THURSDAYS

  • 6:10 p.m. – 7:50 p.m.

 

All levels of pickleball is a chance to challenge yourself and fellow members while learning about the sport of pickleball. Both novice and experienced players are encouraged to play together, giving you the opportunity to play with and against new opponents.
