Opportunity to Participate in a University of Alberta Research Study

The University of Alberta is currently recruiting 10 adults (18+), both with and without hearing loss, to take part in a study exploring ways to improve virtual communication sessions.

They are currently testing VoiceBridge, a new tool designed to enhance hearing during Zoom, FaceTime, and telehealth appointments.

The 10 participants will complete two brief hearing tests:

  • One administered by an audiologist
  • One completed using a computer application

The session takes less than 30 minutes at Corbett Hall (University of Alberta).

Participants will receive an $80 audiologist hearing test at no cost, plus covered parking (up to $25). Participants will also receive a copy of the hearing test conducted by the audiologist.
