Important Update: Parking Lot Exit Safety and Community Courtesy

Our relationship with the surrounding neighborhood is vital to WE Seniors, and we hold our community to high standards—both inside our facility and on the surrounding streets.
Recently, we received a serious phone call from a local resident regarding unsafe driving at our parking lot exit.
The resident reported that a member driving a white Kia Soul exited without stopping or checking for traffic, nearly causing a collision before driving over the curb.
Incidents like this compromise the safety of drivers, pedestrians, and neighbors, and they reflect poorly on our entire center.
To ensure everyone’s safety and maintain trust with our neighbors, we ask all members to strictly observe the following guidelines when leaving the property:
- Stop and Check Before Exiting: Come to a complete stop at the exit barrier and look both ways for oncoming vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians before proceeding.
- Navigate the Exit Carefully: Exercise patience and caution when maneuvering through the exit lanes to avoid mounting curbs or cutting into active traffic lanes.
- Observe Local Speed Limits: Residential streets require slow, controlled speeds. Please drive attentively as soon as you leave the parking lot.
