A Blood Test for Ovarian Cancer? Here’s How.

Dr. Christopher Mueller and Sydney Shephard, the team behind mDETECT, are leading a groundbreaking study working to create a simple blood test to detect ovarian cancer early.

75% of ovarian cancer cases are found too late, when treatment options are limited. Researchers are changing that by looking for tiny traces of ovarian cancer DNA in the blood long before tumors grow. Research is promising, and the results could be earlier detection, more effective treatment, and lives saved.
