Older Bolder Better 2025 – What a fantastic day!
On Thursday, June 5th, we hosted our 28th annual Older, Bolder, Better Tradeshow & Symposium. It was another fantastic event as seniors from all over Edmonton and the surrounding area came to meet with vendors, watch some entertainment, enjoy good food, and hear some presentations!

Our organization is very fortunate to have an army of volunteers are one of the reasons our OBB event is so successful. We simply would not be able to host our signature event if it wasn’t for their help. So, we are sending a huge “THANK YOU” for making our day a success!

Each year our tradeshow features our Friends of WSAC partners, our local politicians, non-profit organizations, and businesses that serve older adults here in Edmonton. The vendors had some fantastic resources for our attendees and it seemed like all of the tables had some treats and door prizes up for grabs. Many of these partners do presentations at our centre, and will be joining us in Strathcona County for our WE Seniors Strathcona Roadshow!

Longtime Friends of WSAC parter Wei Woo is a financial planner who has been doing Toonie Talk presentations for over 10 years at our centre

Infinity Health Care are big supporters of the Westend Seniors Activity Centre, from donating lovely mirrors we use as door prizes to presenting at our Home Care 101 presentations, they always step up to support us

Seniors Homecare by Angels have attended over 8 Older, Bolder, Better events over the years, a record for our vendors

Alberta Health Service’s Healthy Eating Starts Here team were on site, sharing some great resources for health eating.
