We’re more than just a social club—we’re a community. No pressure, no expectations—just a friendly space where men can connect, unwind, and share a few laughs. So grab a coffee, pull up a chair, and join us.

WE Seniors Men’s Shed – Pool & Cards

Come join us for an evening of playing pool, cards and conversation.  These get togethers are meant to be a low-key way for us to hang out and have a nice relaxing evening with other guys.

On Wednesday, October 29th we are going for a tour of Rogers Place!  Tickets are $30.00 and we need to pre-purchase tickets.  If you are interested in joining us, please bring your $30.00! (See the schedule below for details!)

Guest Speaker Night: Kids Kottage Edmonton

Kids Kottage is a safe place for infants and children when their families are going through a hard time. When parents are in crisis, children often suffer the most.
At the Kottage, children can stay for up to 72 hours or longer in a caring, safe, and nurturing environment. While the children are looked after, parents are connected with resources and support to help them cope, strengthen their parenting skills, and prevent the family from falling deeper into crisis.

Kids Kottage doesn’t just care for children—it helps the whole family. By filling the gaps in a family’s support system, the Kottage gives families the chance to recover, rebuild, and create a stronger, more resilient future together.

Come hear how our Men’s Shed will be partnering with Kids Kottage on a fun initiative to raise funds for the shelter AND create a fun project for the kids that will be staying at the shelter!

ROAD TRIP – Rogers Place Classic Tour:

Step inside Rogers Place for a guided tour that takes you beyond the seats and into the heart of the action. Walk through the same halls as hockey legends, explore behind-the-scenes areas, and uncover what makes this world-class venue come to life.

The Tour includes:

  • Oilers Hall of Fame – Immerse yourself in the legacy of the Edmonton Oilers.
  • Oilers Door – Stand where players enter the ice before every game.
  • Star Rooms – See where top performers prepare before taking the stage.
  • Press Box – Get a broadcaster’s view from high above the ice.
  • Event Level – Explore the backstage hustle of a live event.
  • The Oilers Bench (as available) – Experience the game from a player’s perspective.
  • NHL Visitor Dressing Room (as available) – Step inside where visiting teams prepare.

Time permitting, additional areas of the arena will be included.

NOTE:

  • The Oilers Dressing room is not included in the tour.
  • We will meet at the Westend Seniors Activity Centre and then car pool to Rogers Place
