EXITING WSAC PARKING LOT

Based on our earlier communication this month regarding traffic concerns, we’ve received further concerning reports, and some of our members have also witnessed instances of vehicles being driven at high speeds through our parking lot. This poses a significant safety risk to our valued members, particularly those with mobility challenges, as well as other pedestrians.

Please remember that the speed limit on the adjacent street is 40 km/h. It is crucial that all drivers exercise caution and reduce their speed significantly when entering, navigating, and exiting our parking lot. There is no need to rush, and prioritizing safety ensures the well-being of everyone.

We want to be good neighbours and maintain a safe environment for all. Failure to adhere to safe driving practices could lead to a serious accident.

We urge all members to be mindful of their speed and surroundings at all times, and to always check before backing up.

DONATIONS TO LIBRARY

The Library Committee has requested, for now, that we do not accept any donations of puzzles. Space is at a premium in our Library and we simply can not house all the puzzles graciously donated to WSAC.

Currently, the Library is accepting:

  • Books newer than 2018
  • Series
  • Large Print
