This class is designed for those who have had little exposure to yoga but are eager to learn and start experiencing the amazing benefits of a yoga practice. We will introduce the basics of yoga, fundamental principles of alignment in yoga postures, breath work, relaxation techniques, and much more in a step-by-step approach.
Students will be instructed to move mindfully to increase their awareness of the body in each posture. Emphasis is placed on student understanding, safety, and stability within each practice. This will make you comfortable with the names and techniques of various postures and make you feel comfortable in any yoga class.
Students must be able to get down onto the floor for this class.
