CASINO VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Monday, July 6th and Tuesday, July 7th, 2026
Starlight Casino, West Edmonton Mall
WE Seniors Edmonton has been slated for its next Casino and we need your help. Funds raised from the casino go towards supporting the centre in many ways so our volunteers are very important in the success of the two days. Our dates are Monday July 6, 2026 and Tuesday July 7, 2026 at the Starlight Casino in West Edmonton Mall.
All volunteers will be trained and supported by an experienced Cash Cage Advisor and Count Room Advisor.

- preferred day/time/position
- you will be contacted by the volunteer manager to be assigned a shift.
- You can work a shift on both days as long as you work the same position.
VOLUNTEER POSITIONS
General Manager – 1 position
- 6:45 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.
- The General Manager supervises the casino according to Casino Terms Conditions and Operating Guidelines
Cashier – 2 positions
- 7:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.
- The cashier receives chips from players and pays out the value to the players
Chip Runner – 2 positions
- 6:45 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.
- The chip runner (escorted by security) brings the chips from the banker to the dealer
Count Room Staff – 5 positions
- 11:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.
- The count room staff sorts and counts cash received via the table “drop boxes”
