Callingwood Farmers Market, The Market Place
WE Seniors will be hosting a table again this year at the Callingwood Farmers Mini Market on Wednesday throughout the summer. We will have two staff along with one volunteer each week from June 24 until Sept 30, 2026 between 11:30 am and 4:00 pm. Volunteers would assist with some set up and take down as well as chatting with visitors to the market about their experiences at WE Seniors.
We still have one volunteer spot available on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

VOLUNTEER POSITION INFORMATION
Requirements: As a volunteer at the market, you should be someone who has been a member or volunteer at the centre for at least one year and is knowledgeable about the types of programs and services that are offered.
Duties: Assisting with some minor set up and take down (staff will look after the tent) connecting with community members and providing information at WE Seniors.
Training: Staff will be working with you and will go over the duties at the beginning of the shift.
Time Commitment: Shifts will be 4.5 hours long (11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
