Apply by September 30, 2026
The Government of Alberta is offering a one-time $100 Alberta Energy Rebate to help eligible Albertans with the rising cost of groceries, fuel, utilities, and other household expenses. Applications are open until September 30, 2026.
Who is eligible?
You may qualify if you:
- Are 18 years of age or older (as of July 1, 2026)
- Are an Alberta resident
- Filed your 2025 income tax return
- Have a household income of $225,000 or less
Good to know:
Seniors receiving the Alberta Seniors Benefit, as well as individuals receiving AISH/ADAP or Income Support, are automatically enrolled and do not need to apply, unless they enrolled in one of these programs after July 1, 2026.
