Position: Volunteer Delivery Driver – Frozen Meal Program
We are looking for reliable and caring volunteers to help deliver pre-ordered and prepaid frozen meals to seniors in our community. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back and make a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults who may face challenges getting to the centre to pick up their meals.
About the Role
As a Volunteer Delivery Driver, you will:

- Pick up pre-packed frozen meals from Westend Seniors Activity Centre (WSAC) at a scheduled time
- Deliver to seniors in West Edmonton and surrounding areas
- Call the senior upon arrival and leave the meals at their front door or apartment building entrance
- Ensure safe drop-offs while maintaining a respectful and friendly tone
- No entry into homes or buildings is required
What You’ll Need:
- Your own vehicle and cell phone
- Ability to commit to one consistent day per week (approximately 2–3 hours per shift, depending on orders)
- A kind and dependable attitude
What We Provide:
- A cooler and ice packs to keep meals frozen during delivery
- Hand sanitizer and masks (if desired)
- Seniors’ addresses and contact info in advance
- Mileage reimbursement available – just keep track of your distance
