Strategy Session with Councillor Reed Clarke

Hello, Westend Seniors Activity Centre!

As we step into the new year, I would like to invite you all to a 2026 Strategy Session to discuss the future of our community.

  • Wednesday, February 25, 2026
  • 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
  • Community Café, Westend Seniors Activity Centre

My Top 5 Priorities for 2026

I’ve identified five key priorities for the year ahead, but I know that we can only reach these goals by working together. I want to hear your thoughts and ideas to ensure our vision for the community reflects your priorities.

  1. Adjusting the Residential Zoning Bylaw: Changing mid-block zoning, having clear design standards, and focusing on new housing along LRT lines and major roads.
  2. Driving Economic Competitiveness: Attracting non-residential investment, prioritizing key sectors, and making permits and zoning approvals more efficient.
  3. West End forward: Prioritizing transportation in all areas of our ward.
  4. Rally 4 the Road: Unlocking Stony Plain Road’s Potential.
  5. Building Canada’s Best Sports City: Better zoning for sports facilities, stronger community legacies from major events, and continuing arena partnership projects.

I look forward to sharing a coffee with you all and discussing how we can create a ward we are all proud to call home.

Reed Clarke – Edmonton City Councillor for Ward Nakota Isga
