WE Seniors Men’s Shed will be hosting an event on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Coronation Lawn Bowling and would like to invite all of the Men’s Sheds in Edmonton and area to attend.
LAWN BOWLING & BBQ EVENT

- 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Commonwealth Lawn Bowling Club
- Coronation Park – 11420 139 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5M 1G1
- Cost: $25.00 – includes burgers, potato salad & 2 alcoholic or non alcoholic refreshments

MEN SHED COORDINATORS
We would love to connect with the other Men’s Shed coordinators in our neighboring Men’s Shed communities. Our coordinators, Lorena Smalley, Mark Smalley, and Grant Schneider will be onhand to connect.
Specifically, we are interested in hearing:
- what activities your group is doing
- do you have anything you are struggling with as a group
- any tips, suggestions or activities that have been working really well for you
- would you be interested in connecting with our Men’s Shed to do things like group trips and events
- and anything else you might be interested in discussing!

- Our behind the scenes coordinator is Lorena Smalley, who is the Community Engagement Manager at the Westend Seniors Activity Centre and who manages our WE Seniors Strathcona office. She handles the office stuff, coordinating our monthly schedule, finding guest speakers, etc. for our Men’s Shed
- Grant Schneider and Mark Smalley are our coordinators who are here each week connecting with our Shedders, helping set up our monthly schedule, etc.
