Guest Speaker – Don Charnaw, Prostate Cancer Centre in Edmonton
On Wednesday, March 19th we hosted guest speaker, Don Charnaw, Prostate Cancer Centre in Edmonton. It was a fantastic presentation where Don outline that prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers among men, but early detection can make all the difference.
During the presentation, our shedders learned the signs, risk factors, and screening options available to all men here in Alberta. He also broke down the facts in a straightforward, no-nonsense way—showing the attendees that taking charge of their health is not complicated but needs to be a priority.
After the presentation, the attendees had the chance to ask questions and then afterwards, some of the guys headed to the WSAC games room for a game of pool.
