Wildfire Safety
Spring has come and the weather has gotten warm very fast. Although most of us are enjoying the sun and the warm weather, there has been an increase in Forest fires and the risk of further wildfires is exponential. There also is an increase in grass fires within city limits. There is a list of resources that the Province of Alberta has sent out to help make this summer a safe summer. We are encouraging everyone to share this information with their friends and loved ones throughout Alberta.

STAY PREPARED
During this season it is time to prepare to respond.
- Stay informed about the latest weather and emergency updates.
- Prepare an emergency kit that includes essential items such as water, food, first aid supplies, and a battery-powered radio.
- Ensure that your vehicle is fueled/charged up in case of an evacuation order.
