A shelter in place can occur at any moment, especially when severe weather is expected to occur such as thunderstorms, heavy rain, blizzards, and tornadoes. But what do you do when you are at home, in a vehicle, at work, outside, or in a public place and you are advised to shelter in place? What do you do if you have pets, farm animals, or livestock?
