Funeral planning and what consumers need to know will be included. The presentation will also touch on common misconceptions that consumers may have regarding funeral services
 
3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.  What You Need to Know About Organ and Tissue Donation
Give Life Alberta
Over 90% of Albertans support organ and tissue donation, but few know how to act on their good intentions to help save lives. Give Life Alberta’s Senior Communications Advisor Su-Ling Goh (formerly of Global News) will clear up common misconceptions, explain how to register to be a donor, and share why your family needs to know your donation decision. A transplant recipient will also share their inspiring story.
3:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The Anatomical Gifts Program
Many people wish to bequeath their body to science, however few people know how to make the necessary arrangements. This presentation will explain how to arrange the donation of your body. The details about what happens at the time of passing and the process till the completion of Medical Education & Research.
