Designed with love and care for our esteemed seniors, this session celebrates the empowering concept of “Aging in Place.” You’ll discover how to comfortably, safely, and confidently continue living in your own home as you age, making every day an opportunity for growth!

1:45 PM to 2:30 PM
Kick-off the day with an engaging session from Congdon’s Aids to Daily Living! We’ll delve into tips that supports Aging In Place which include home modifications, accessible technologies, and savvy assistive products that transform your living environment into a cozy and empowering haven.

2:30 PM to 3:15 PM
Next, brace yourself for our thrilling segment from Aging with Dignity: Understanding Everyday Health Supports, presented by Congdon’s Aids to Daily Living. Dive into crucial health topics including medical compression garments that’ll leave you feeling like a million bucks by alleviating those pesky discomforts from varicose veins and poor circulation. We’ll also cover the important topic of incontinence management, providing you with the insights and tips that help you maintain dignity while feeling fabulous!

3:30 PM to 4:15 PM
After a short break where you can mingle with our fabulous presenters and explore informative tables, we’ll jump back in with an empowering session titled Self-advocacy in Health Care, presented by The Office of the Alberta Health Advocates (OAHA). Equip yourself with the tools and strategies needed to communicate effectively with your healthcare providers, ensuring your voice is heard loud and clear—because you deserve to be your best advocate!

 4:15 PM to 4:30 PM
We’ll wrap up the day from with a final Q&A session, designed to clarify any lingering questions and spark engaging discussions.
