NATIONAL DAY FOR TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION
We recognize that many people of the Indigenous Community will be honouring this day with their own families, friends and organizations which has made it difficult to secure a guest speaker for our presentation at WSAC.
In light of this and low registration for this event in the past several years, we have decided to cancel our presentation on September 30. We will instead be sharing information during Truth and Reconciliation Week (September 22-26, 2025) on poster boards at the centre in an effort to encourage you to continue the conversations about Every Child Matters and the residential school system while honoring Survivors and their families.
We also invite you to stop by our cafe on September 30 between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm for some free bannock prepared by our kitchen staff.
