As of June 1, 2025, the Canadian Dental Care Plan is now open to Canadians of all ages in families with a household income under $90,000 per year.

You may qualify if:
✔️ You don’t have dental insurance
✔️ Your annual family income is under $90,000
✔️ You filed your tax return last year
✔️ You are a Canadian resident aged 65+ (or meet other age or disability-related criteria)
Apply online through your CRA account or call 1-833-537-4342. It’s quick and easy!
Most coverage lasts 1 year—watch for reminders to renew through your CRA account.
Once you’re approved, you’ll get a welcome package and coverage start date. After that, you’re ready to book with a participating oral health provider!
Basic services like cleanings, exams, fillings, dentures, and more. Coverage levels vary by income.
