At WE Seniors Westend Seniors Activity Centre, we are committed to helping older adults stay active, connected, informed, and empowered. In today’s digital world, cyber safety and digital confidence are essential to maintaining independence, well-being, and peace of mind.
Our mission and values closely align with those of Connected Canadians, particularly their focus on empowerment through education, inclusivity and accessibility, community connection, and supporting independence. By sharing Connected Canadians’ trusted programs and resources, we aim to ensure older adults have the knowledge, skills, and practical tools they need to stay safe online and thrive in an increasingly digital world.

Connected Canadians regularly offers free virtual workshops on topics such as:

WE Seniors will be sharing information about upcoming Connected Canadians workshops on this page so members can easily access these learning opportunities. Thanks to generous support from RBC, the Ottawa Community Foundation, and Desjardins, this six-part workshop series covers essential topics that will empower you to feel more confident and independent as you navigate the digital world. All workshops will take place on Zoom, making it easy to join from the comfort of your home.
