In 2020, the City selected MIP to design and build the second stage of the Valley Line from Downtown to Lewis Farms. Construction began in 2021 and is anticipated to be complete in 2028.

1:45 p.m. – Valley Line West LRT Project Update
Presented by the Valley Line West LRT team

Learn about the 14-kilometre Valley Line West LRT expansion from Downtown to Lewis Farms and the accelerated roadwork program, which have proven to be very successful this construction season.

Construction began in 2021 and is expected to be completed in 2028. Once complete, the full 27-kilometre Valley Line will connect Mill Woods to Lewis Farms, providing accessible transit to neighbourhoods, businesses, and key destinations across the city.
