SPONGE CAKE
This month’s recipe comes from one of our amazing kitchen volunteers…the man in the hat…Dave C.

 

  • Moisten pan with butter or oil and sprinkle flour on the pan
  • Use two bowls
    First bowl: Beat 4 eggs with 1 teaspoon vanilla for no less than 5 minutes until ribbons appear on egg surface.
    Second bowl: Combine the dry ingredients and blend together the following:
    100 G. Butter
    1 cup Sugar
    1 cup Flour
    1 tsp. Baking Powder (I use 2 tsp.)
    Add the eggs to the dry mixture FOLDING gently
    Gradually add one quarter cup of milk while folding
    Cook in 350 oven for 35 -40 minutes until done
