This song – a ‘Let It Bleed’ classic from 1969; was first performed live at the band’s ‘Rock and Roll Circus’ special, which was also the last time they played with guitarist Brian Jones.

It been a staple of their live shows since the Exile on Main Street tour in 1972. They’ve played it a grand total of 754 times, more than any other song in their catalog besides “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” “Brown Sugar,” “Honky Tonk Women,” “Tumbling Dice,” “Satisfaction,” “Start Me Up,” “Sympathy for the Devil,” and “It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll (But I Like It).”

 

THE ROLLING STONES

The Rolling Stones performed “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” during One World: Together At Home on April 18.  Its a fantastic performance of the greatest rock and roll band in the world!
