Estrogen plays a vital role in protecting the heart, brain, bones, blood vessels, mood, and overall well-being. As estrogen levels change with age and menopause, symptoms such as hot flashes, sleep problems, fatigue, memory changes, and shifts in heart and bone health are not simply “normal aging,” but signs of real biological change that deserve attention. The presentation encourages women to better understand their bodies and feel empowered to seek informed, individualized care that supports healthy aging and quality of life.\nDr. Norris will lead a Q&A session from 2:45 to 3:15 pm to answer your questions and deepen your understanding of women’s heart health.\n\n \n3:30 to 4:15 p.m. – Reducing Your Risk: A Practical Approach to Heart Health for Senior Women\nPresented by Lisa Gerard, Primary Care Alberta\nAs we age, our heart health needs change, but it is never too late to make a positive difference.
