Volunteers are the heart of Westend Seniors Activity Centre. As a non-profit organization, we rely on the dedication and generosity of volunteers to operate our programs, activities, and seniors support services.

When we collaborate and work collectively, amazing things can happen. Whether you’re a senior yourself or are simply interested in giving back, volunteering with Westend Seniors Activity Centre is a fun way to meet new people and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. There are many other benefits. You’ll learn new things, gain confidence, and build self-esteem. Volunteering has also proven to be good for your health.

We have limited positions available at the moment but you are welcome to fill out and application and we will contact you if something comes up that you may be interested in.

Please note: our organization’s operating hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with later open evenings on Tuesday and Thursday nights until 8:00 pm. Most of our volunteer opportunities take place during weekday hours with the exception of occasional special events.

Our Friends At Drive Happiness Need Your Help!
If you enjoy visiting and like to drive, Drive Happiness would love to hear from you.

  • Volunteer drivers make their own schedule and select where they will drive.
  • Drive Happiness offers a small reimbursement towards gas and vehicle wear and tear.
